Wishlist: Climb PenY Fan. Brecon Beacons
Very well trodden. The absolute epitome of a beaten path.
Took the loop from the recommended start point, for the steeper up to top.. Where it's worth having a windproof jacket and beanie.
The gradual down was easy going, catching up with a fair amount of traffic (NB: a Tuesday in the summer holidays). Sadly a fair amount of litter picking on the way down.
Enjoyed the walk for the fresh air, views and good stretch of the legs - 7.3km (not 8.5km) taking 2 hours. Easy/moderate
